Lichfield Staircase Manufacturing has completed projects for hospitals and civic buildings and is heavily involved in new projects for schools, with many special status schools opting for a more contemporary design for staircases, balconies and balustrades. These examples show the interior designs for a new school.

The canopy is one designed and installed at the Heartlands Hospital, where the design had to be contemporary yet sympathetic to the original building. It is a major entrance the design had to reflect that.
